How is the Fund structured and what are the underlying investments for the Fund?

The Atlas Prestige Property Fund is an unregistered unit trust. The Fund is a multi-asset class managed investment that seeks to provide risk-adjusted and attractive income returns to investors via investing in loans made to special purpose vehicles (SPVs) established to undertake land, commercial and residential property developments in Australia. The underlying investment will vary depending on the unit class that you choose to invest in.

Is an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) required to manage the Fund?

Yes, the trustee of a managed investment scheme such at the Atlas Prestige Property Fund are required to hold an AFSL.  

 

Atlas Investment Services Pty Ltd has an AFSL issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) (AFSL number 524041). 

What are the risks of the Atlas Prestige Property Fund?

As with all investments, there are risks associated with an investment in the Atlas Prestige Property Fund.  Some of the key risks of investing in a mortgage fund include investment risk, borrower default and credit risk and priority risk and security enforcement risk.  

 

Our team of specialists undertake a thorough due diligence process in reviewing the risks associated with each investment opportunity and will seek to mitigate the risks through the terms and structure of each loan.

Who can invest in the Fund?

The fund is available for investment by Wholesale Investors only. 

 

To qualify as a Wholesale Investor, you must: 

  • invest more than $500,000 in the Fund; or   

  • have an accountant’s certificate confirming that you: 

  • have net assets of at least $2.5 million, or   

  • have a gross income for each of the last two financial years of at least $250,000; or 

  • be a professional investor as defined by the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
